Hello,

I just realized that I made a mistake on the cover letter for I-129F when packet was sent. I put down that I am enclosing Birthday certificate instead of Naturalization certificate (Which I enclosed). Any idea if this will cause any kind of delay? Of course I-129F form was filed out correctly saying that I was naturalized.

hope that the officer will see that you submitted the documents that are needed, an disreguard the error on the cover letter, then just hope all is ok no rfe, wait an see good luck

The cover letter isn't actually a required document, right? So even if they did feel uncomfortable with seemingly contradictory information in the packet, hopefully you could instruct them to discard the cover letter? Good luck.
