Hello All,

I really need help please. I met my now fiance almost 4 years ago. Since then, my life has changed. We have been talking almost daily or texting, messenger or emails... I have also traveled to see him 5 times since we have started dating. Now I am going to be a USC in a few weeks and I am preparing to petition for a k1 visa for him ASA I am a USC.

The problem is now that I am trying to put our packet together, I feel like we don't have enough proof of ongoing relationship:

1) I didn't know that all these years, my and his computer weren't saving our messenger conversations (And we changes computer etc..)

2) The cards that we sent to each other are not opening anymore :( (It doesn't open after 30 days).. And we have been sending each other love card since 2007..

3) We have proof of emails sent to each other since 2007 but it is french (Do I send them some of the emails or just the "search page" where his name shows as expeditor and receiver since 2007?

4) When I go to visit him, I officially stay with my aunt and can't go to hotels and stuff, because of our principles, family and religion.. But I have pictures of us, and the plane tickets

5) We rarely sent money to each other. Maybe once, he sent me money. But I don't have the receipt anymore (Maybe I can go to a western union and get that info??)

6) The many pictures that we have are not dated

So now, I am pertty depressed.. My relationship with him that is so real... All of a suddent seem soo... not "proovable"... What should I do??..

Here is what I HAVE:

1) Many tickets to Ivory Coast,

2) Many pitures of us.. (But without the dates; I was planning on writting the story of each picture behind)

3) Many people who can testify of our relationship (I asked my dad who live here in the US [We are planning on getting married at my dad's house] and his sister who live in Italy but whom I met many times)

4) Many emails between us ( When you search his name in my mail, there is at least 700 "found"...since 2007)

5) E-cards that were sent and received (Again in the search option) but you cannot open the cards themselves

6) Letters from each of us explaining our relationship

7) Receipts of our wedding bands that we already bought

8) He lost the receipt of my engagement ring (He gave the money to my sister in the US to get it.. SO somewhere in between, the receipt was lost) :(

So please, what do you think?.. What should I do about the prooves? The cards?, the messnegers since 2007 that I don't have anymore? Any other ideas of proof? What about the pictures that are not dated? What have some of you done that I did not mentioned? Please let me know..

I really do not want any delay at ALL. So I want to get this right from the beginning.

Last question: I am going to have the packet ready and apply the next day of my having my citizenship (And sign all the official forms of the application the day following my oath). Will that raise questions about the veracity of our relationship? (I mean.. I have been waiting for that citizenship for the longest.. Just so that I can apply for the man of my life.. I wouldn't want to wait one more minute.. If possible.., So I wanted to send my application the following day of my oath. ) What do you think?..

Please please, please answer as many questions as you can PLEASE.

Thank you so much.

Best,

Personally, I wouldn't stress about 'proof of relationship' yet. The I-129F petition only requires proof that you've MET face to face in the last two years. The proof of relationship is needed at the Interview level.

My advice? Send in the I-129F when you can, and while you wait the five (maybe six?) months for it's approval, then keep a record of everything relationship related during that time.

You actually have a lot of proof! Plus you made many trips to see him, which is great. Only send a few photos (preferable with family) and letters with the petition, have him bring the rest to interview.

Filing right after citizenship is not a problem.
