Hi all, I am trying to file AOS for my wife which came over on K-1 visa. On form I765, #16 it says

#16 go to part 2 of the instructions, Eligibility categories. In the space below place the letter and number of the category you selected from the instructions.

(_________)(___________)(_____________)

What do I put in the three spaces above, again my wife came over on K-1 visa. Thanks !!!

I posted in AOS forum (A6 is what I am thinking) and got couple responses

some were saying C-9 and others said A6

Which one did you guys used?. My wife came over from Vietnam (90days) so figure I post another one here to get second opinion. thanks

One more thing, Nonimmigrant visa number is that the black (control number) or is it the numbers in red on the lower portion of the visa?

Thanks VJ

Not to add to your confusion but I put ( C ) ( 9 ) ( )in Question #16. My wife came over on a K-1 and she just recently received her Green Card.

The red # is your alien number. The black # is the control #.
