We have received the letter with the interview date... April 27th :)

Now the question is, how do you organise all the documents that you need to bring? Pictures, plane ticket confirmations, USCIS letters, all the other documents we need?

I was thinking of putting the pictures next to the relevant trip, but the rest I`m not sure what to do with. Just collect everything and put it at the end of the file? Or should I put everyting in a date order?

I don`t want to frustrate them because they can not find what they are looking for easily. Does anyone have any good tips?

Thanks :)

uh oh ...the big day is coming up :) ...seriously, it's not as bad as it sounds.....

to answer your question, for our interview I had a file folder with all the copies of the paperwork we had filed for my AOS meaning all the forms and attachments copies that were sent plus the originals of those attachment copies like an official bank account statement I got in the mail. I then also put in dividers and wrote on the tabs what is where "I-485", "Affidavit I-864 wife's name" "Passport my name", "passport wife's name", "plane reservations", "e-mails 2006" - turned out to be a very heavy and thick folder in the end, but it sure was easy to find right away what the IO wanted to see.

Good luck already for the interview, feel free to ask more questions and we'll share our experiences

hey, good luck on your interview!

Just organize it so YOU can find whatever they'll request at the interview. It's not like you bring everything and put it on their table. They'll ask one by one for anything they need. They might not ask for all of them like in our situation but I'd still bring them all, you never know.. At the interview don't be nervous and just take your time to find whatever paper they are asking for.

again good luck and let us know how everything went!
