hi, im a postal worker of 18 years here in the u.s. my girlfriend in colombia has a good job at bancolombia headquarters in medellin. she also has a house in her name and speaks good english. we met last july. i also have 5 houses here(4 as rental property). she has 0 intentions of staying if she were to get a tourist visa. she just wants to visit and see what life is like here. my question is, are her odds slim to none for getting a tourist visa? thank you!

She will have to prove her ties, you cannot help. She gets tourist visa on her own merits - she would require to show enough evidence that she would return back to her home country after visit and she would not over stay her visa duration.

Who says govt employees dont get paid well.............lol even working in pvt sector I cannot afford 5 homes .......lol.

Her chances are better if she applies than is she does not.
