I just finished getting everything they asked for, letter from my employer with company letter head, letter from my bank, W-2,s ,pay check stubs and bank statements.Im a bit worried because i spent most of 2008,09 an the majority of 2010 in thailand.I still made over 55 thousand in 2008,But for 2009 had just a small income from my dive company in thailand.I came back home in november of 2010,I started working again in december,I still made 6500 an have the W-2 for 2010 an am still working making about 6500 a month.Do i need to worrie about that,I have 2006,2007,2008 W-2,s witch show me making good money well over the poverty line ,Will i be ok? do i need to show my bank book from thailand as well.

I have herd many different stories,Please let me have your imput.

Also do the really ever go through the trouble of actually contacting your employer or your bank if givin enough proof?I always wondered about that.Well please feel free to drop aline. :help::help::help::help:

I can't comment on Thailand specifically - but I had a similar situation. I was working out of the country from Nov 2007 - Feb 2011. I only moved back to the US in Feb 2011, and took up a job straight away where I meet the income requirements.

I submitted the two pay stubs I'd received by the time of my finace's interview, a letter from my employer, and past taxes - just to show earning even though it was foreign income earned abroad that was excluded from taxes.
