hi,

our i601 waiver was approved in vermont we had filed it in montreal in june 2010,all this was possible only because of this attroney her name is lizz

cannon without her this would have never been possible,she charged us very reasonably,and her service is great she is very organised hardworking and professional ,she supported us all the way even i had thought of giving up the process but she always encouraged me.thanks to lizz cannon.

Awesome , congratulations. You filed in Montreal in June 2010, could you elaborate a little more on when your waiver was received by VSC, what method you were told it was approved and when it was approved?

It would also be instructive and helpful to the other members here if you could tell us the inadmissability and the hardships claimed.

That's awesome news. Congrats! So do you have to send updated information such as police certificate and medical to the embassy. Keep us posted on what you have to do next. :dance:

Summer 2007: Hubby and I met.

January 2008: Engaged.

May 22,2008: Hubby and I got married!

August 2008: I-130 filed.

January 2010: Our son was born.

May 2010: Interview at US Embassy in Barbados. Visa Denied! Eligible for I-601 waiver. Couldn't get a joint sponsor so we had to wait until 2011 when my income tax return documents would reflect my full income.

Feb22,2011: Embassy Received Tax Docs and New AOS!

Feb28,2011: I-601Waiver App Package sent to USCIS Santo Domingo via airmail.

Mar28,2011: USCIS Santo Domingo received Waiver Package.

Jun13,2011: Waiver Approved!

June24,2011:Embassy requested that medical police cert and other docs be updated and sent to schedule final interview for visa! *crosses fingers*

FINAL INTERVIEW SET FOR SEPT. 1ST @ 7:30AM

Congrats!!! I sent my waiver in December to Montreal embassy and they sent on march 7 to vermont and I received a receipt number yesterday. I checked my status which says INITIAL REVIEW. They sent me an email in which they mentioned that I601 are taking four months to process. I appleid for I 601 because of overstayed more than a year. I sent my passport with the waiver to montreal embassy. hope to hear good news soon.

we had an overstay of almost 5 yrs in u.s.a my waiver was received by montreal in aug 2010 and than we received the rfe from vermont in feb 2010.
