Interview Approved! No email/text updates though

Hey y'all,

Just wanted to share the news that we've been approved!!!!! We will definitely post a full-on review later, although there wasn't anything weird or unexpected that our IO asked, overall a very efficient and painless experience!

A quick question though, when we got home, I checked my email, cell phone and the uscis website, and have NOT received any updates about being approved or my card production being ordered.

For most of the process though, I have received email/text/online updates (such as for the EAD). For those of you who have been approved at your AOS interview, did you get online updates at all, and if so, how long after the interview did it take to get the text/email/online notice of approval or card production?

Thanks!

Nov. 5: Sent AOS Package

Nov 17: AOS received by USCIS

April 1: INTERVIEW DAY. Approved!!!!!!

Early June: Moved to New York City. The only relevant city in the world ;)

Congrats Snookie !!!! You can breathe a sigh of relief now.

Btw, did you ask them to stamp your passport there before you left? The online update doesn't seem to work all the time. I just received RFE yesterday but my online update didn't change though. I guess you just wait a while to see anything happen before calling them.

It might update later tonight or in a day or two. My guess your IO is still working and hasn't pushed the button to approve you just yet, but will shortly. Congrats!!

Thanks for y'all's replies! Didn't ask for the I551 stamp but I did get a paper that had my name and A number saying that I was a conditional alien so hopefully that's some sort of a receipt in case things go haywire

PS. Tina, I heard about the RFE situation and just wanted to let you know that I'm rooting for you!!! Plus, I'm glad that you now at least know why there was a hold up in your case! Even though it'll be a pain, it seems simple enough to deal with getting the letters from the police. It'll be over before you know it! Keep us posted!
