Timeline

me and my hubby had our interview in newark on the 8th of march..it was a strenous interview the IO was like russian or something ..she separated us and intervowed us separately 4 times we went in at 1 and came out by 4pm stressed out ..she was more concerned about the activity on our checkign account and why our bill has a shut off notice....after the intervew she said we will get a decision in the mail ..it is an adjustment of status from B/1B/2....has this very happened to anyone before a mini stokes interview on the inital interview? a lawyer told me this is a new thing they are just startind..says if it is a denial or request for RFE or 2nd interview i should get a letter in 2 days but its been 3 weeks and nothing....this people are so unpredictable.....

Yes, stokes interviews can happen at the first interview. It is not something new. All you can do is wait for further instructions from them. Good luck.
