Well I've e-mailed them four times already and no response. How many times did you e-mail them? Did they reply?

The best ttime to email them is in the morning at 9am ,Also use the public inquiry to send email. I sent a message through facebook, I requested that my email to be forwarded to the Supervisor this morning and I got a quick respond then when i checked my case in the evening it changed to Issued.

Thank you so much for your help Lola800. In your opinion is it normal for my status to have not changed after it was "touched" on Sunday. I thought the stairs would change by now

Hi all.

Was wondering if anyone that's been waiting has been on AP and got a request for their passport from the Consulatr and if so, how long have they been waiting to get it back?

My husband had his interview at the Montreal consulate on June 23, put in AP because he's from Iran and studying engineering. On September 14 we received a request from the Consulate to send them his passport (they didn't keep it after his interview). It arrived to their mailing facility exactly 5 weeks ago today. Sent them an email in early October asking about status but no response. Last update was October 11 on the website which I'm guessing is when they finally got around to reading the email. Getting kind of anxious with the holidays coming up and having to keep life on hold.

I feel so bad for all you guys stuck in AP. My interview was Wednesday and visa status is showing as Issued already as of Thursday afternoon. I was thinking maybe everyone got stuck in AP through Montreal.

Best wishes for you all to advance soon and be with your loved ones.
