hi guys,

i just had my interview 2 days ago for K1 visa... and the consular said that my visa is approve and the officer told me that my visa will be delivered at home. now my question is.. do you think its possible that i could not receive the visa coz they still need to do an evaluation again? coz i read one of the forum, that one girl who got approve for a K1 visa was not able to receive it after 10 days of waiting and then she found out that the consular need to review it again.. but i don't know if she was denied or not... please enlighten me... what would be the possible outcome of this case?

hi ,sometimes it happened but not really denied not unless they found out that some of the papers are fake or someone smelled fishy on the relationship at the end they made a review but it takes awhile before they finally sent the visa bcoz of bunch of applicant sometimes they need to double check everything u forwrded at the embassy even they checked that already but if u r 100% sure about the documents u submitted and ur relation is bonafide why bothered what u need to do is to pray to be smooth sailing hope it helps

yeah i think so, thank you so much for ur reply... im just worried coz i have a plane ticket to catch up. my fiance book my ticket already on april 10,2011.... but i know everything will work as plan. I prayed for it everyday :) i hope and pray that i could receive it early next week..

the consul even asked me only my fiance's name, the date he visited me, and his job and the consul said ur "visa has been approved" and started filling out a shipping form... the reason why i bothered is because of the forum that i read i don't even had the idea if she receive her visa or not.....

is there a situation that even though the consul approve ur visa they will deny it later on?? im just wondering...

You will receive an AIR21 tracking number so you can track your passport and sealed package. It usually takes 10 days or less to receive the passport and the sealed package. You passport can be seen inside a clear plastic sealed package.

There will be a slot on the side next to the passport where you can remove your passport and look inside for your k1 visa sticker (check each pages). Check all names for any wrong information on the K1 visa sticker. If you do find any wrong information on the K1 visa sticker, go back to the US Consulate and go to the same first window where you went it for your interview and let them know that there is a wrong information on your K1 visa sticker. You have to make them make some annotation on any wrong information on your K1 visa sticker. You can then go to your CFO seminar with your valid K1 visa sticker.

If you have no untold terrible history in your past and you were told you were approved.....then you are approved. Stop worrying and start packing!

it took me 22 days b4 we received it coz im with my 2 kids needs so much of checking maybe, but still we dont wanna make any reservation and pay for it what my husband wants is to buy right away a ticket thats why we dont make any reservation unless visa is on hand just resched ur reservation ifever u dont receive it better to resched rather than to buy .thats why i keep on tracking spending lots of money calling long distance with air21 i even called US embassy what happen to it but no good response that fits to my ? their always saying the same . I even lost my weight waiting for it lol pretty sure vj really helps me getting idea from the timeline of vj members by counting how many days the difference from interview to receiving their visa. and ofcourse prayer is the best . but soon as we got the visa after 22 days bought the ticket right away hehehe and now were here with my loving husband and kids had my AOS done and will have my interview for my green card on the 30th of this month just pray for us too thanks and Godbless:D
