Hi All;

We got the 1-130 approved way back a month ago, now it's choice of agent. But here is the problem, they send it to me in my maiden name, not even spell right. OMG!!!. Now what? Should I just name my husband choice of agent or should I somehow correct that. HOW and HOW? Remember me? I was the one that immigration thought I had married before and I didn't. My husband and I sent a letter of explanation to get approved which work, thank God. I know immigration MUST be tired........ but so are we..... I am worried about that whole name mistakes, it could give us problems later on. My passport is in my married name, sheesh they know that. No, my husband didn't make a mistake filling out the 1-130..lol. Give me advise pleaseeeeeeeeeeee.

I am discourage.

For peace of mind, give the NVC a call and get clarification. Talking to a real person tends to put one at ease as opposed to sending letters to a PO box. They were able to change my wife's address over the phone, easy fix. Maybe they can work the same magic for a name?? Maybe wishful thinking but if you don't ask, you'll never know.

Just my 2 cents......

Thanks for some help, but I don't think that is going to work. It will give me problems when interview comes... I have a feeling. And it is hard to call someone, you just got lucky..lol
