His big heart was a truly a blessing and a gift from the LORD

Embued with a wittiness and grace

that no others possess

but only would place.

To the Toe goes a heart as a sign of success

when he moves on, I'll be very sad I confess.

Today is a celebration, a token of our esteem

to write with his skill I can only dream

On that equaniminous note I will retire to bed
