No K1 visas are processed at TSC. You send them to a lockbox in Dallas, and the package is then forwarded to the appropriate service center (Vermont or California.) If you are from Hawaii, yours will be processed in California.

Anyway, it shouldn't take long for your fiance to receive the NOA1 saying that the case was received. When we did it it took a week, but I'd give it up to a few weeks without worrying.

K-1
09/09/09 - NOA1 :: 10/20/09 - NOA2 :: 01/11/10 - Interview :: 02/24/10 - POE :: 04/10/10 - Wedding

AOS
05/17/10 - NOA :: 06/08/10 - Transferred to CSC :: 07/02/10 - Biometrics :: 07/16/10 - EAD/AP Approved :: 10/26/10 - AOS Approved

ROC
08/16/12 - NOA :: 09/13/12 - Biometrics :: 04/12/13 - Approved :: 04/19/13 - GC received

Naturalization
08/22/13 - NOA :: 09/20/13 - Biometrics :: 01/30/14 - Interview - Approved :: 02/27/14 - Oath

This doesn't answer the OP's question. At all.

OP, you should receive your NOA1 shortly and that will tell you where your case has been forwarded.

@katie & sifa & coconuts : thanks for the reply. i really appreciate it :yes:

but is it true that if the package is forwarded at california, it will take much longer to be processed? i have a friend who is from south carolina and it only took them 4 months for the whole process.

im kinda worried right now, cause it took us 5 years before my fiance filed k1, he recently became american citizen months ago this year.

i hope we can be together by the end of this year. :(

California seems to be taking roughly five months to get NOA2 approval.

If it's Vermont, you're looking at over 6 months currently.

That's the attitude :) Once you're together, you'll forget about all this waiting! Good luck to you.
