Hello Folks, I have a concern. I am doing my part with sending out the I-134 Affidavit of Support form however my LAST Name on my TAX RETURNS/W2's are not spelled the same say as in my US Passport. My SSN card last name is misspelled by one letter hence it is not the same as in my Passport. Is this something to be worried when my fiancee goes in for the interview? anybody had the same experience? THank you in advance!

This is the place to post your experiences or questions related to this last step before moving to the US. Topics relating to I-134's, packets sent from consulate and medical & police certificates should be posted here.

I would be concerned. Maybe write a letter of explanation that can be provided only if this is questioned? I do not think you need to show your Social Security card. However, if they notice the name spelt different on your passport vs tax returns, it may be questioned. If you were boin in the USA, maybe it's possible your last name on your birth certificate matches? Best of Luck.
