Tax question for I-134

Not sure where this belongs, but since it is in regards to the I-134...

I submitted my taxes for 2010 in early February and thought I had it all in the bag. No big deal, done my taxes myself for years. However, about 2 weeks after filing (and receiving a refund) I received a super late W-2 from a temp job I worked alongside my full time job last year that I totally forgot about. I filed 1040X (amended) the same day, sent off my form with checks (state and federal) for the discrepancy between the amount I should have been owed and the amount I received in my refund (slightly less) - which were both cashed - and am all good now.

However, my question is this - I ordered tax transcripts recently for 2008, 2009, 2010 to have ready for the interview. My 2010 transcripts obviously show my income regarding my 1040A that I originally sent in. Does anyone know how long it takes for the IRS to update an amended return, so I can order another transcript? I know I can bring in my originals (which I have) but would like to avoid all those papers if possible.

You can order another tax transcript and if the amended return has been processed then it should appear on the new tax transcript.

Yep I know, I just don't know how long that takes to be processed. Not the end of the world since the interview probably isn't for at least another 2 months, but still, I'd like to get an idea of when. There's a limit to how many transcripts you can order anyway, I don't want to keep ordering them til the correct one comes along.

But you haven't even received your NOA2 yet, have you? You've got time. I'm not an accountant but I assume that it would take just as long as it took your original filing.
