I don't have any issues with residency, I have lived in the same town for the full 10 years I have been here (just moved once, and I put in a change online, as well as wife as she was sponsor) and never traveled outside the USA.

My question, the USCIS site says "Most people must live in the USCIS district or state in which they are applying for at least 3 months before applying."

My question, how do they verify that at the interview (or before?), if your interview is based on the 5 year rule, because there is no need to take taxes, utility bills etc, with you?

Do I need to take something with me, though I have never heard anybody say they have....just wondering....?

Just bring something showing your current address dated a few days or a week prior to interview, a bill or letter addressed to your home address.

This is a non-issue.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

So really, they just believe you are telling the truth.

I have a letter from my work (says I have worked there since 2001) so I'll take that along.

Yes, they will believe you unless something turns up in their background checks that shows otherwise.

You'll show your state driver license or ID card at the interview. It will have your address on it, and a date of issue. You also swear to tell the truth, so God help you, hand up, at the interview.
