My original i129f was dated April 12,2010 and it's been many delays getting my fiancee medical to clear which took almost 4 months but now were ready to schedule the interview but it's back logged so I dont think there is a chance to get a interview date before April 12, 2011.

So does my application expire after 1 year or is it automaticlly extended because of the medical delay in St. Lukes, Manila, Phillipines.

She only got her medical clearance results last week so it's not our end that caused the delay in fact were trying to expedite the process like most VJ members here.

I would say that it would be extended automatically knowing that the medical took so long. You may heave to ring and make sure on that and that you don't have to file again if they let it expire.

When I asked the US Embassy in Manila they said that you have one year to schedule your interview from the date they received your file. And if the delay was caused by the medical then you should be okay :)
