Ok here is my story its kinda long, I'm sorry but I need advice. I received a checklist e-mail from the NVC Jan.11Th 2011, stating that I had missing information on my I -864 AOS. I sent the required AOS document with the required corrections 01/20/2011, and it was received and signed for by the NVC 01/24/2011. Feb. 3rd 2011, I received another checklist e-mail from the NVC stating that the birth certificate I sent was not an original and that the NVC was still waiting for the corrected I-864 AOS paper. I sent the original birth certificate to the NVC 02/09/2011. Feb.10th I received another email from the NVC stating that they received the required corrected I-864 AOS paper, and now they are waiting for the original birth certificate. I call the NVC automated system every now and then to see if there are any changes or updates.

This morning 03/01/2011 I called and the automated response changed and now it said that the NVC has received the required documents and found information missing on the AOS paper, and that a checklist was sent to me Feb.28th, 2011, but I never received any e-mail Feb.28Th,2011. I called into the NVC and the operator told me to disregard the automated message because it was showing in his system that the AOS paper was received 02/28/11, and this is what is confusing me. How did the NVC send me an email 02/10/11 saying they received the AOS paper, and the operator is saying it was just received 02/28/2011. Is there some kind of mistake? I do not know if I need to send anything else into the NVC. I sent the NVC an email asking about the problem, and I know it takes them some time to answer, so hopefully they will be able to tell me what is going on. I don't mean to be such a pain, but I don't want anymore delays caused by little mistakes, so just wondering if anyone has been through something like this. Thank you for your time and help.

Sometimes there is some sort of delay or overlap with the receiving of docs/entering into the system/updating AVR etc.

I'd say give it till friday and talk to an operator again, if (s)he says its fine then take it as ok.
