Married since 03/02/2011, AOS from F-1 visa, green card granted 05/24/2011.

02/14/2011 Valentine's Day wedding

03/08/2011 Sent I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago Lockbox (PO Box address) thru USPS Priority Mail

03/09/2011 Found out this Visa Journey Community

03/10/2011 Package received at 6:48am

03/15/2011 Called USCIS to inform them that all the forms I sent don't have barcodes on 'em, except for I-693, was told to wait for 30 days before we hear from them

04/05/2011 E-notifications received (texts and emails)

04/06/2011 Checks cashed

04/11/2011 Received NOA's for all 3 applications

04/15/2011 Received Biometrics Appointment Notice for I-485 and I-765 (scheduled for 05/09/2011)

04/15/2011 Successful Walk-in Biometrics (05/09/2011 is week of my birthday and we'll be out of town)

04/27/2011 E-notifications received(text and email) EAD Card production in order; Online status for I-765 updated 4/27/11

05/05/2011 Received EAD card

05/16/2011 Received Interview notice scheduled for 06/16/2011 (via e-notifications and USPS mail)

Ubamama and Jahbeauty, I am hoping that we get an interview soon. It seems like NY & CA filers get interviews more quickly than Georgia. I guess we will have to wait, and see what happens.

guys! i just had my interview this morning.my appointment was 10:30 but was called in around 10 and was finished around 10:30 i guess... i was approved! thanks God! the interview was okay. the io didnt ask for any evidence. didnt even check our marriage cert and the rest. he just checked our ids, sworn in and verified some info on the forms we submitted. he was very nice. he understands that the marriage is new and not much evidence yet. thanks God for assigning my case on that io.. :)

to all you guys just be prepared for everything, who knows right?.. we were just thankful that the io was considerate. :)

4/28/11 successful walk in Biometrics

5/13/11 EAD arrive

5/16/11 APPLY FOR SSN

5/18/11 GOT PRINTOUT OF SSN

5/19/11 GOT MY FL DL WIFE IS SUPER HAPPY SHE DOESNT HAVE TO DRIVE ANYMORE.

Congratulations what did you take to the interview?

just the ones on the checklists but the io didnt ask for it... he just asked for our ids... and i handed him our joint savings account.. we still dont have the lease agreement copy..so basically the only evidence i gave to him was our joint bank account only.., the pictures he didnt check it too.. he stamped the word APPROVED on the paperworks before he asked for additional evidence... :) He advised us to gather more evidence on the removal of condition. :)
