My K3 Visa case is currently under administrative processing for 10MONTHS now. Can I go ahead and continue my CR-1 Visa case since its already at the NVC or will it end up in administrative processing as well? Dont know if I should just wait until this AP is over or continue my CR-1. This waiting is killing me. Any help on what else I can do or who I can contact to make an inquiry on my case? Ive already contacted one of my senators & they were no help.

Any information will be appreciated. Thank you.

The CR-1 would be stuck in the same AP than the K3. It would still be worth kicking it into play I think, because it is a superior visa (immediate greencard upon entry). Plus, when were you married? If the 2 year anniversary of your wedding passes before you enter the USA, and you are on the CR-1 visa path, you actually get a 10 year greencard, meaning no ROC after two years- saves money and hassle!

I have been married for two years and seven months. I was just wondering maybe I can finish the CR-1 since ive been waiting for 10months now. AP seems so long, who knows when they will finish. Yet, I dont want to continue my CR-1 and end up in AP as well. That would make me more upset. I don't know what to do. Everytime I email the embassy they always tell me the same thing. I ask so many different questions but they always give me a copy and paste response that says im in AP and to just wait until they finish. They never answer my questions. Its so fustrating.
