good day!

my mother ( LPR) filed a petition for me- F2B last July 1999. Unfortunately, she passed away last July 2009. My sibling, a US citizen took over. He asked us to send a letter for reinstatement, forwarded death cert of my mom and my birth certificate last Mar 2010. Then by December 2010, I received this status when I checked my case at the USCIS website : ".... we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly"

then just last month , I checked my case and here's the status : "... USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it. We will notify you when we complete our review, or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283"

what does it mean? am I still eligible for the petition? thanks

what does it mean? am I still eligible for the petition? thanks

The NVc seemed to have found (an) error/s in the case file and so sent it back to uscis to be reviewed/adjudicated again. If no thing was fond then it will be send back to the Department where they would continue where they left off.
