How long must I wait for them to formally deny us so we can submit our I-601 waiver. Our interview was Febuary 10th, and they said we are currently in Administrative processing. We were previous reafirmed by DHS...what could possibly need more processing if we know we need an overstay waiver (that was just me rambling)

I really want to know how long AP is at consulate level. He is a Samoan citizen and our consulate is in Auckland, New Zealand.

If I could be anything, I would be a tear.

Start with the most simple attempt and see if it gets you anywhere. Send email to DHS office that adjudicates waiver for the post, when they reply that you need to submit at consulate, then forward that email to the consulate. It doesn't hurt to address emails to director of USCIS at that post, and chief of consular station.

They will answer or not, give them the opportunity to let you file the I601. You could also duplicate the packet submit it, just keep an extra copy. If you could find a way for him to go pay the fees, you could ask by email to add his name to list for I601 fee payment.. another technique.
