How long does it take for the consulate to have a waybill set up and then how long would it take on average to receive my passport and visa back?

We have been seeing varying times to be honest. Most the holdups seem to have been the embassys fault. Some people have waited 2 weeks. Others got theirs back in a few days. Its really in between that.

We have been seeing varying times to be honest. Most the holdups seem to have been the embassys fault. Some people have waited 2 weeks. Others got theirs back in a few days. Its really in between that.

It's not just Canada, it's everywhere. It all depends on how many approvals they have (more approvals mean more work, which means more time). You should be able to contact DHL and see if your package has been recieved and get an estimated date of delivery.

We had our interview the the day before. I'm still not seeing my waybill number either. So I'm wondering the same thing.

If no waybill number is posted can you still contact DHL about the package? (I'd tend to think not but thought I'd ask all the same)

You can contact DHL but without a waybill number, it'll be a waste of time unforunately.

The time varies, some people on here have gotten lucky and seen tracking show up within a couple of days, some people haven't seen anything for a good week to ten days, some people have never seen anything show up (me) and just got a phone call from my local DHL office to say my visa was ready for pickup.

It is posted after the visa is printed. Call DOS and find out if its printed or not. If the waybill still has not showing up use the reference number if that is listed.

As in the other DHL posts in this section, many times the waybill does not even post until DHL has it sitting at their office for you to pick up.

Called DOS: Visa has been 'issued' the lady had NO clue what I meant by when I said "printed". Did I use the wrong word here?

Then Called Toronto number: Nothing shows up in their systems or the DHL. The visa must still be at the consulate.

if it goes over a week..try to call montreal directly. if you can. I know someone who's WayBill was posted about 4 days after. Now mind u..u have to count business days..weekends dont count. So if you had your interview Thursday..today is Monday..technically you're on the 3rd day.
