Ok, so my bosses son just moved to the UK on a work visa. He has married a girl from London who travels to the US regularly for jewelry trade shows. My boss asked me because she knew I had just recently immigrated to the US and thought I might know, however I am STUMPED.

Her son wants to come and visit for 2 weeks in April and bring his UK wife with him. Up to now she (UKC) has travelled to the states on her VWP with no issues, however with her now being married to a USC, and with them both travelling back here (US) for a vacation, would she be looked at a little more closely? Should she make an effort to bring proof of ties to the UK, (House deed, letter from boss, return ticket, etc)?

Thanks for advice. I dont know much about VWP, because Ive never had to use it.

It wont hurt if she brings in documents showing ties to the UK. The USC husband can also bring a few docs to show he lives in the UK and is just visiting the US.

Their case should not raise any eyebrows at all.

09/15/2014 - Inline for interview scheduling (was stuck in "Initial Review" for over 3 months!)

12/01/2014 - Interview

12/19/2014 - I AM A US CITIZEN!

Ok, thanks. I will let my boss know to tell her son and DIL to bring a few pieces of proof, and not to worry.
