Travel After AP

I hope this question is not been repeated a lot however I could not find the answer. My Fiancée is moving here next month on a K-1 visa. Her country of origin is the Philippines. After we get married and go through the AOS process we plan to go to the Philippines there and meet her extended family. I know I have to have an AP before we go so she can get back into our country. We are thinking about going to Paris, France for a week before or after we go to the Philippines. My question is “does my then wife need a tourist visa to get into France or does her AP give her the same basic rights to get into France that my citizenship does. Can we travel to countries that were previously off limits to her?

Can't edit my response.

I also found this:

Schengen Visa

Maybe this is what she needs instead.

John

Thanks for the link! I will check it out. I am hoping we can travel to a few other countries that she could not usually go to. I guess I was thinking that since she is married to me it would make it easier. Obviously I will have to do a little homework to figure this out. :bonk:

She needs a visa, since she is still holding a Philippine passport. Her status just gave her an edge to get an easy approval.

Thanks you are right. She has a much better chance of getting it now vs. before eventhough nothing is guaranteed.
