I am having mixed feelings. I am excited that we've been approved but also worried everything will speed up now (good tho'). Vjers thanks for your posts and also answers to my several questions. Please can someone tell me what happens next. I need to change my address at the NVC becasue I just moved, how soon should I call them? I am currently in my home country on holiday, do I need to get a police report from there. I lived there for 24years before relocating to England. I just want to gathere as much things as possible before I leave. Thanks for your help :dance::D

First, I assume you are the beneficiary.

Yes, you need the police report from every jurisdiction you have lived in for more than six months since you were 16.

As for your new address, yes you need to report it otherwise that all important Packet 3 will get sent to the wrong address. I don't know how you do it, but I do know it is important to do it correctly.

Packet 3 will contain specific instructions, including document gathering, in preparation for the interview. You don't get an appointment until you complete the steps, so starting now is a good idea since it will save you time.

Check the website for the U.S. Consulate in London, since each consulate has its own set of rules.

Congrats! So far for me it has been moving Super Fast. I got the NOA2 email on 2/11....NVC received my info on 2/16 and they sent it out to the embassy TODAY! The Lima Embassy schedules interviews within a month, so very fast now! I haven't received the hard copy NOA2 in the mail yet. You can call NVC in a few days to see if they have your info in the system. They will ask for the email of both parties and the embassy mail email the information as well as send it. Like Al said....you can email or call the London embassy to ask specific questions. I believe you do need certificates from your home country and England. Some embassies allow you to pick up the information they send out also. Good Luck!
