I realize this has been asked before, but I can't remember the answer: When is it OK to call and pay? We have the LND number and we're waiting to hear that the case is logged at the embassy. I'd like to get the payment out of the way as soon as I can.

I paid the fee as soon as we had our case number and it was confirmed that the Embassy in London had in fact logged our information.

Yeah, paying them $16 to give them some more was kind of painful, but in the end, I figure it's all going to be worth it :)

I don't see why there would be any problem with using a pre-paid credit card you can pick up at the grocery store. My friend uses them all the time to pay his utility bills without any problem.

Case number and your fiance's details like DOB so they can locate the file. I'm fairly certain that's all they ask me to locate his case.

You need the case number and the beneficiary's passport number. I paid yesterday so it's still fresh in my memory.
