If it was the first person he spoke to who told him that it was a Tier 1 service rep. If that is the case she was giving him the current estimate for your petition. If you hit the 4 days and nothing happens he can call back the next day and file a service request :)

This is BS. If it were true, then everyone from the beginning of August up to the 21st would be approved already. As we all know from Igors list, there is no consistency to what date they are approving. And those with NOA1 dates from the beginning of the month are still waiting.

OP, I hope you get your NOA2 soon. But if you don't get it by Monday, call them back. It will be interesting to hear what they have to say, when you quote their 4 day promise back to them.

My fiance talked to a Immigration Officer and filed for Service Request.. and that's after we hit 6 months! and if you still don't have your approval.. make a follow up email on the service request..A little more patience, you'll have your approval soon!

I just talked to a tier on the other day after we passed our 5 month mark and she said that since they are still processing august filers I could not make a service request and to call back in 30 days.

Once we get passed the NOA1 the rest is supposedly more predictable.

Good luck to us all.
