Got an affordable tickets for my Parents

Finally, we were able to convince our parents to come here earlier than April. Got them tickets for PHP 31,000 each Cebu - Nashville that's $720.93 ~ round off $721 each. March 11 is the flight date. The itinerary is CBU-MNL-SAN FO-CHI-NASHVILLE.

St. Raphael quoted us $770 each but we found a travel agency there in Cebu, they gave my parents the first time immigrant discount too.

Ask for Loida, that's the owner of the travel agency. She works before on DFA, my parents know her when she was still single and she's also the one who process my sister's passport before. So when they went there on DFA to have their seminar, they saw the Debalucos agency just beside it so they went inside and found out Loida owned it.

So if anyone here in Cebu wanting to get an affordable and competitive price for their ticket, why not give the Debalucos Travel Agency a call.

Also Grand Hope Travel Agency quoted them $735 (PHP 31,600). Not much difference on the price. So you might try them too. I'll put their contact # later, I don't have it right now.

Whats the total flight/travel time? (or agony as they call it)

@John+Lourdelie & Adam and Thet, It's kinda the same flight I have when I came here (Manila-San Fo-Atlanta-Nashville). And yup it's their first time to travel a long flight. The duration of their flight (or the agony as you call it LOL ) is 18 hrs and 40 mins. But there's a waiting time from Manila to San Fo for 3 1/2 hrs. And another 4 hours from San Fo to Chicago. So overall total will be 26 hrs and 10 mins. I know they can manage and they can totally rest the whole day when they arrived.

When I came here I fly out in Manila but the day or 2 (I think) before that was my Cebu-Manila flight. So in a way they have the same as me. The difference is the stop over on Chicago. My connecting flight before was Atlanta-Nashville. Not Chicago-Nashville. And I stayed the whole 24 hours(a day) there in San Fo bec I can't get on the same connecting flight as my hubby. So I catch the next one which is the following day at night, last flight and I was a chance passenger to boot. It was a holiday so there were many people travelling.

I found a $740/person plus P1620 (fee) one-way first time immigrant's rate from this site. PAL is the carrier (other carriers are also available) so it's only 12-14 hrs flying time from Manila to LAX (no lay overs.) But they only have limited seats, so better get in-touch with them asap.

that's right, my husband booked me a flight today manila-san francisco BOEING craft. He did it online on www.mangotours.com, it's expensive $930 direct flight, tax included.

And I emailed my scanned passport and visa plus the CFO sticker.

Have the travel agent put a hold on a seat for you. Then you can pay for the ticket after you get your passport/visa. That's what Chinook did.
