Our I-129F is taken a long time based on no RFE compared to others so I though Id look over everything to make sure I didnt do something wron... Sure enough, after looking over this form like 20 times before mailing I find that I checked "Divorced" under my wifes info...

Arggg, this is probably why its been sidetracked.

You have not been sidetracked. Your I-129f got NOA1 in June, so why are you fretting? Give it time. To see how much time, compare yourself to others from Ukraine.

Even if you checked "divorced" by mistake, it shouldn't have an effect at this point on timing. Can you correct it? Perhaps others have an idea.

approved Aug 15, 06

Here's what the estimate on my timeline reads:

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated as early as August 11, 2006* (this includes an estimated 10 day delay for your RFE).

Today is the 30th. My NOA1 is 05/02/06. There are still many petitions being held up, for whatever reason.

Don't fret too much yet.

ONE DAY AT A TIME....

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

12/30/2008: Overnighted I-751 package to VSC

01/06/2009: Check cashed

01/06/2009: NOA (arrived 01/09/09)

01/23/2009: Biometrics appt letter received

01/31/2009: Biometrics scheduled

05/20/2009: APPROVED

06/23/2009: 10 Year Green Card arrived

I'm not really worried that much it just seems odd that we have not gotten the IMBRA REF yet.

I just wanted to really how easy it is to mess up. I sometimes think you can get so caught up in the details that you become overwhelmed and do stupid things like check the Divorced box lol

According to VisaJourney.. We could have approval by Sept 5.. so who knows. I was definitely surprised by the I-130 being approved so fast, maybe the K-3 will surprise me too.

Thanks for the encouraging words... this site is really therapeutic.
