Talk about USCIS being behind with their email notifications ... Maybe it is because my green card came from Kentucky and not California ... anyway ....

I just got this email a few minutes ago even though I received my welcome letter and green card yesterday in the mail ...

If anyone should be approved from CSC it definately should be CWR and Carlos_and_Simonne ... They are #1 and #2 on the CSC Transfer List and have been very patient and supportive of others being approved who are farther down the list ...

Soory I forgot to add khan and gsmaclean who have also been waiting very long ...

I hope CSC figures out where your files are and gets the approved ASAP ...

ohhh I am sooooo happy :)

I feel really bad for you as you have been waiting alot longer than I ...

I did the last thing today that was worrying me ... I got my Illinois Drivers License ... I only had to do the written test but of course I was stressing about it ... I am not sure how many I got wrong but I wasn't about to ask the guy since he told me to sit down for my picture ... I figured no use rocking the boat if he is giving me the license that is all tha matters ....

Now I am all ready for my first day of work on Friday ... Ohh and they told me my new company car will be ready Friday ... Wooooohoooo !! :)

Me too. Here's what they sent when they got my RFE materials:

On October 20, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message.

That was three weeks ago. CSC already sat on it for 5 weeks before that. Today marks two months since it was received by CSC. Some people have waited for 3 weeks TOTAL after it got to CSC before approval and issuance.

*sigh*

I'd REALLY like to be able to go work, guys!!!

I hope they find your file soon and get on it and approve it ... You shouldn't have to be waiting this long considering you got your RFE before me and you returned the RFE info back to them before me ...

Also there has been alot of approvals from CSC lately when there are many people that have been on the list alot longer ...

Sure they were. This is the message on the website that has been comming up for months. The reality is that if you are marrying a girl from Russia there is an increased chance you will be screwed.
