Poverty Line for I-864

When using assets for I-864, is it three times or five times the difference between current income and assets.

Also, do i have to put down any of my assets from the UK.

Assets located outside the US are factored at 5:1. 3:1 for assets located in the US.

I-864 is filled out by the sponsoring US Citizen, does the US citizen have Assets in the UK?? Need to show if an how these assets will be transferred to the USA, Assets need to be in the US, not overseas.

With I-864, assets are only worth 1/3 income, that is if income is short $1000 from (125% poverty-line) then $3000 in assets will be needed. This has to do with prospective immigrant being able to naturalize and become a US Citizen at 3 years of LPR status married to US citizen.

It is 3 times if the spouse is the one sponsoring, or 5 times otherwise. You don't "have" to list any of your assets, but if you need to use them to reach the required amount then do list them. Liquid assets are great. Houses are not so likely to be accepted.

Don't forget that if the USC's assets are their primary ones (e.g. they list their only house and car) they don't like accepting those because to liquidate said asset would probably cause undue hardship on the sponsor. In other words, no one is going to be happy to sell their house because their sponsee got food stamps...
