Do the photos that we have to present with the evidences of bona fide marriage has to be with other people or just us together will do? I just realized that we don't have a lot of pictures together with other people because my husband doesn't like taking pictures and I didn't think about needing it for ROC.

Thanks in advance for any advise!

Photos are not really a big thing for ROC, they want to see evidence spanning 2 years. Utility bills in both names, joint bank accounts, joint credit cards, joint lease or deed, shared insurance etc.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

For the Philippines, pics are not really a big deal. Just have a few of you and then family together, preferably in recognizable places.

But if you are courting a girl from a far eastern country, then fotos can turn into a VERY big deal, and involve pics of ALL the guests at your big Don Ho party!

This is for removal of conditions, photos are not a big thing like i said. For the petition for K-1 they are but when removing conditions they want HARD evidence such as bills in both names etc. Evidence spanning 2 years of living together and co-mingling.

Photos loses it's importance at the ROC stage. USCIS' thinking is that, after being married for 2 years, you MUST have some kind of financial co-mingling. Bills, joint car/health insurance, lease/mortgage and account statements are what they really like. They know you don't have to necessarily live with someone to take pictures with them but sharing your money with someone else is a different thing. They like to see that you are getting into debt as a team

Thanks everyone!

That's good to know. We're good as far as the hard evidences ie bank accounts, credit cards accounts, joint tax returns, insurances, etc. Just the picture since, like I said, my husband doesn't like taking pictures and each time we go for a trip, we take turns taking pictures, so we have 2 or 3 pictures on a trip that we're both together and one with families when we had a family reunion. I was wondering cos I saw here someone got an RFE and they requested for pictures cos they didn't send enough.

Again, thanks! I truly appreciate it.

any updates of your timeline with regards to ROC? i was just wondering if how long will it takes, coz i have plan to go back philippines in april . BUt anyway, the expiration of my 2 year GC will be on May 5, 2011, and i already submitted my docs for the removal of the condition last week, feb. 1 and it arrives in vermont last feb 4. My question is, in your case, how long did it take for them to give you a case number? how long did it takes for them to schedule you for a biometrics, and from biometrics, how long did it takes for them to give you your docs for your 10 years? i am just being curious coz til now, they havent deposit our payment yet. and i have to book my ticket soon, but i cant do anything unless i have my proper documents with me
