According to various time trackers, the Texas Service Center is the fastest, but I live in Nevada. Do I have to send my application to California or can I send it to Texas? Some of the forums and guides say to send directly to Texas. Does anyone have any similar experience? Clearly, it won't be faster if my application is sent back.

Read the I-129F instructions. EVERYONE sends it to the Texas address listed.

From there they remove the payment. Repackage your packet and then send it to either VSC or CSC.

Read the directions, what do they say? Texas, right? You aren't going to get anywhere if you can't read the simple directions on the application in order to file properly.

As others have said, you need to read the instructions. It tells you exactly where you file your petition. You do not get to decide which service center your petition will go to based on who is the fastest. You will be assigned to either Vermont or California. That's it.

Just to clarify, the Texas address for filing the I-129F is NOT the Texas Service Center address. No fiancee (I-129F) petitions are actually adjudicated in any USCIS office in Texas and no cases of ANY kind are processed at the address given in the I-129F instructions. Only "intake" is done at the lock-box facilities.
