hi danik713,

i have the exact concern for VSC.. no feb approval so far this week.. im thinking they are trying to organize things and they are approving the RFEd cases last year and then moving on to january so as to be in the proper order.. im not sure.. the march filer who got approved i think was an expedited request.. oh my where are our case files.. the approval rate seems to be slower again.. hmmm..

 $75USD to mail measely papers.. ridiculous. It is pricey to "overnight" to Trini too. Next day delivery actually takes several days - talk about false advertising.

Congrats Andrey & Milena!!

Lovelyjoy, about time huh? I thought NVC was supposed to be quick, but I suppose a couple weeks is nothing compared to the NOA2 wait.

Welcome smasbreuk, you should get that case number soon.

Would anyone like to put a good word in at VSC for the rest of us? This week VSC has approved petitions from August, Septemeber, October, November, December, January, and March - but nothing from February. I am pretty sure we have no red flags or anything obvious to worry about, but every day I get a little nervous or paranoid. Lately I've been thinking about the interview and getting denied there. I wish there were more members or reviews for Trinidad like there is for Canada or the Phils.

jingo, I have read from other VJ members that once a form expires they will continue to accept it until a new version is published. There are also some forms which indicate "previous versions also accepted." I do not know this for certain and have only read about i so I can't give you a link/source - but hopefully they will post something new on Monday. It's really not a complicated form so I'd hope Consulars would be understanding... but who knows.

yes i hope next week my fiance will get the case number cos its really killing me here, just waiting and can't do medical check up :( because the other thing already done. maybe NVC very busy and on monday, they have day off

still kinda nervous until the interview huhuhuhu

Do you think, the embassy could reject the visa? or its all just want to make sure if we are truly in this relationship?

Yayyy good news - 2 Feb peititions approved at VSC so far today - congrats  AJ & NINA - did you knock on wood after you posted?! Nothing from CSC yet but they are a couple hours behind and people may update their timelines later..so who knows.

lovelyjoy, you make me anxious to go dress shopping too.. but we haven't even decided if we're going to have a traditional ceremony, I keep going back & forth about it - but I so want a dress.. I look forward for a few months ahead when people will post wedding pictures, ooo yes it is exciting.

smasbreuk, I have no idea about denial.. I definitely read a ton more happy stories than sad ones on this forum, but I don't know. I'm a bit nervous too, but there's not much we can do. I don't know much about the Embassy in Indonesia - but I hope they work quickly so you aren't waiting in anticipation too long.

Danik -> I'm actually thinking of having 2 dresses! Lol! One for the ceremony and one less formal and more comfy for the reception. My fiance wants to have a big wedding with 100+ people mostly his family and friends. We just paid the down payment for the venue yesterday.

I finished my two day medical yesterday too. My arms are still sore (6 vaccines total) and I feel so heavy today but I have to go back to work. However I'm glad I'm finally done with it and moving to the interview stage. :)

I'm happy for all the recent approvals from fellow Feb filers! Congrats you guys! :)

hey guys, it's been quite a while trying to avoid the timeline for a bit laughing.gif so I haven't been on much.....there's a couple of approval and that's uber awesome but we still don't have our NOA2 kidda getting nervous we might get RFE but idk I think I've sent everything they need even more.....I just don't wanna worry about it anymore, if it's gonna come then it's gonna happen. I'm only getting frustrated with waiting checking every now and then

so glad you guys are planning on the wedding already, you're making me so jealous laughing.gif like what I told danik we're only planning on small wedding so it's not gonna cost that much. I've been thinking if I'm gonna sell my car anytime soon like probably if we'll gonna get approved, I wanna help my fiance as much as I can when it comes to finances.

@lovelyjoy: congrats your done with your medical, did you schedule your interview? that went so fast! how much did you pay for the medical in peso and what are the vaccines included? coz I was thinking of getting vaccines before medical if I have to pay anything extra. Also, I already have a certified BC but I think it's more than 4 years old do you think I need to get a new one? I'm hoping to get my CENOMAR this week if I have time, been a lil bit busy with my work... huh.gif

Nah, we haven't paid the visa yet so we can't schedule the interview. We're hoping this Friday, since we have not received the NVC letter yet so we're assuming our case is not yet in their system. I suggest you get a new BC with the CENOMAR. You can order on-line both. That's what I did and it only took 4 days if there are no problems with your documents.

Btw, my vaccines included MMR, pneumonia, varicella and tetanus if I remember them correctly. But the doctor usually decides what you need esp if you don't have a record with you. Since I have an asthma, they gave me the shot for pneumonia for protection (that's what she said, I have a higher chance of getting it because of my asthma). I paid P9,300+. I don't remember the exact amount, but it covers everything from blood extraction, x-ray, urine test, shots etc. :)
