Frankfurt or Berlin?

Hello,

I'm quite new at posting so excuse me if I'm sending something already asked or in the wrong forum.

I would like to ask any members who have recently gone through the K1 process in Germany if they would know if the K1 is still being processed exclusively in Frankfurt or is it also being processed in Berlin? The reason why I am asking is because on my NO2 it says that the consulate is Berlin, but as far as I know (at least for last year) is that all the K1 Visas were processed in Frankfurt.

Also, could you go to the medical with the case number before the consulate sends you the paperwork/package or do you have to wait until they send it to you?

Thank you to Visajourney and its members for a wonderful website and a great supportive community. I don't know what I would have done during all these months of waiting without you!

September 4, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

September 7, 2010 - Per delivery confirmation, delivered in Dallas, TX 75266.

September 16, 2010 - Received I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1). Received date 09/07/2010. Notice date 09/10/2010.

I checked the US Diplomatic Mission to Germany website and it stated that K visas are processed in Frankfurt.

You can schedule the appointment before you receive package 3, that's what I did (had my medical at "Waldfriede Krankenhaus" yesterday). You don't need to know your case number to schedule it, but you do when you actually go there for your exam. You can call NVC, they will tell you your case number (starts with FRA).
