and you already have your interview notice date :o

or is it because you've done your biometrics earlier that the appt. date? like almost a month earlier...

do you think doing biometrics earlier has an effect on how fast the I485 will be?

04/02/11 - Day 66 - EAD & AP "combined" card received by express mail usps

oh wow..yours took like only 4 days to receive your EAD card :( i see yours is in chicago lockbox... mine is in the NBC..

i think NBC is slower than any USCIS service centers? :( our states are just beside each other xD i'm expecting mine this week..

but you didn't at least receive 2 dates of card production..i did receive twice (refer to my sig) we did have the same first

card production order date..grrrr i'm getting a little impatient as i want everything to be done at least before apr. 15th..so i can submit

my SSN to our tax agent xD

guys, is xiucai the only person here who got her greencard?

are there any other people here who got her gc or something, so we

can estimate probably when we'll get ours or something...

mine is in NBC... i was expecting for my files to run faster.. -_- but... blehhh

i got an email about my EAD being approved... the card production ordered came first before it -_-

wow their system must have the biggest glitch lol

I agree with you about the sytem online, sometime is not really clear, but as soon as they said we mailed then you should receive your card soon

I'm in the same situation I wish I can get my SSN to fill the taxes, I'm gonna tomorrow (April 5th) to the SSN office with the form SS-5

I'll let you know how much days it will takes if I got an answer about the time to get it ;-)

Don't forget your passport or birth certificate or another form of ID. They want two separate pieces. :thumbs:

I think that probably applies to people adjusting from a spouse visa or K1 visa....

I think that they all get sent to NBC and after your file gets routed to your service center thats when the interview gets scheduled. Mine was sent to NBC....when my EAD got expedited my congressman rep had told me that they also updated him on my I-485 case. He said my file had be sent to the Miami field office and is waiting for the interview to be scheduled.

for info, I showed up my EAD card and my passport

You are welcome! You might get it way sooner than 2 weeks! I went to the DMV to get my learners license and was told I need to bring my actual ssn card, because I had just applied for the ssn 4 days before I was really upset cos I probably wouldn't remember all the road rules in 2 weeks lol...but to my surprise when I got home from the DMV there was the ssc in the mail box. Was shocked cos i applied for it Thursdays and it arrived on Monday.

You are welcome! You might get it way sooner than 2 weeks! I went to the DMV to get my learners license and was told I need to bring my actual ssn card, because I had just applied for the ssn 4 days before I was really upset cos I probably wouldn't remember all the road rules in 2 weeks lol...but to my surprise when I got home from the DMV there was the ssc in the mail box. Was shocked cos i applied for it Thursdays and it arrived on Monday.

Wow was faster than fast lol, It will be great if I can have it soon to be able to file the taxes with my wife....wait and see

i just got my EAD yesterday, and i just applied for SSN today ^_^ the lady there was so

nice :D with my problem about married and maiden name...she said that i should just wait

for the physical card which she registered under my maiden name (under the EAD card)

and i can change it anytime... then she said..my green card should automatically

be under my married name O.o USCIS should automatically do it..so i was like "really?!"

then she said..they SHOULD.. so..i will just call USCIS tomorrow and ask about that..

but nonetheless.. i'm all set with working now xD bum life is over..soon ^_^
