Thanks CanadianGal..I'm just suprised because other's that got approved in january got their their interview dates within 7 weeks of NVC completion. I haven't even gotten an email yet that our case has been completed. My wife made the call Monday and they said it was done and be in Montreal in 2 days. I did the sign in and it failed..so..i dunno what to expect next.

Shame us CR1 folks can't use the self scheduling service.

I would give nvc a call and tell them you havent received your case complete email... I called and they told me exactly when

they sent it out...I got it a few hours after that.

I sent in last week of DEC. It took 3 weeks for case complete (employment base immigration). AVM has standard message for 8 weeks time to communicate after case closed. I am hoping to hear something before 8 weeks. I am not sure who (NVC or Montreal) send the letter about interview and medical?

Hi Abha,

When did you mail your DS230 package to NVC?How long did it take for your case to be completed and closed?

Thanks

Check the NVC AVM. Sometime it takes 3-4 days to update the AVM after approval.

I got the interview date on March 29th.

Hello Abha,

Have you received your interview letter yet?I am still waiting for approval from NVC, it has been over 4 weeks today.

Thanks

I got the notification of my interview in an e-mail because I had e-mailed the NVC at least once before, and they instantly keep it on record!

It was a very nice thing to get, and I got it minutes before my husband arrived for his weekend visit!

1. It took mine Just over a month and a half from my AVR case recording of Case complete to when I got the email in regards to my interview date. New Years Eve to be exact. To be honest it was a great way to end out 2010 :) With the NVC I did everything via Email (minus sending the packets in of course). I found it made the process go much faster.

2. My email was sent from the NVC

3. I just posted a topic about this as well. Admittedly I think the MTL consulate review here should probably be updated to reflect the new DHL only post. Also at least some kind of explanation with the website sign up and what to select. I luckily had some amazing people help me out as I was a bit stressed and didn't know what the heck was going on. (as i also thought we had to do the express post)

Check the NVC AVM. Sometime it takes 3-4 days to update the AVM after approval.

I got the interview date on March 29th.

Hello,

Good luck with the interview today.

Could you please post a review of your interview, it will be big help since mine is also employment base case and my interview is in two weeks.

Thanks
