Congrats!

My case was closed on Jan 10, 2011 and we were notified on our wedding anniversary, Jan. 19th, 2011 that his interview was scheduled on Feb 3rd. Sometimes the case will move like lightening, so one must be prepared for both ends of the spectrum. Be as proactive as you can with the NVC. I called within 5 business days after my NOA2 and got my case number and made sure that all of our corresspondance would be sent to me and my husband via email. Within one week I got the choice of agent form and that day I emailed it back to the NVC inquiry to get the ball rolling. I paid my AOS bill as soon as I could and sent those documents in . I then paid the IV bill one week after it was generated. The disclaimer on all the preliminary paper work states that you have one year from your last contact with the NVC before your paid fees will expire and you will have to repay.
