when will i receive my green card

my wife and i had an interview in Baltimore on the 12th of January 2011. We had our documents perfectly arranged .The interview went well. At the end of the interview which lasted about 30 minutes, the officer, a female African american told us everything looked fine. She said some of my files where missing and she needed to get them from the Detroit office. On the 18th of January we received approval notice of the i-130 but nothing yet on the i-485. Is this normal? i thought both approvals should come same time. Could there be any problems with our i-485 application
