Hello everyone

I applied for the K1 Visa – I received notice from USCIS that On January 14, 2011, that they have approved the I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE.

The next step is for me to contact the American Embassy – or should I wait to receive something in the mail from the American Embassy?

Thank you for your help

I suggest calling NVC. :) 202-663-1225. You'll need your case number. Ask them if they've received your petition yet, they likely have. If yes, ask them if they've sent it to the consulate.

Once they have, you can start calling DOS for updates to see if they've received it.

I did but they didnt receive it yet. In approved NOA2 e-mail said that it needs 2 weeks to receive it. In others timeline say that they had case number after 3 or 4 days. I will call tomorrow again
