Me and my fiance have everything filled out already =). We are just wating for a replacement of his birth certificate to mail the package to the USCIS. Today i was reading a post where they were talking about abbreviations in countries. I am glad i did not abbreviate anything but that post made me remember about something in my fiance's and I I-129F, and it's worrying me,

so before sending anything i want to know about a question in the I-129 F, so we could avoid a RFE.

INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR FIANCE

Question 3 A- Place of birth

where it says (STATE/COUNTRY)

What do i write there?? in the I-129F example i found on this site only says the country of the beneficiary (AUSTRALIA)

So should I write only ARGENTINA (I am from argentina, my providence is Corrientes and my city is also Corrientes)

or should i write CTES-ARG (ABBREVIATION FOR BOTH since there is not place)

I really hope that people who already got their NOA2 help me with question so my fiance and I could avoid a RFE. THANKS

We wrote on our 129f city was Sydney and country Australia so you would put -- city/ Corrientes and Country/ Argentina.

3a. Place of Birth (Town or City) (State/Country) means town OR city and state OR country.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

Do not abbreviate the names of cities or the country. Several members, recently, have had petitions returned for abbreviations of said items. If the name is too long to type, try hand writing it in neatly. If that can't be done, attach a supplement paper that had the question # with answer.

Also Barbara is correct with what she said.
