This thread looks so lonely, I just wanted to share a video from a great

Quentin Tarantino film I saw this week, "Death Proof" - worth a trip to

the library or netflix. You can barely see the texting girl fall into the pool, but she does a great job.

I really laughed at this. I guess it's real and not set up? I do feel bad for the girl, that'd be VERY embarrassing having to walk out of the mall wet and have people wondering why!! But it's punishment for texting too much!! These youngins. I tell ya.

You may guess that I'm a huge Quentin Tarentino fan.

He not only is a great director but has supported many other

independent filmmakers (both domestic and foreign, notably Asian)

as he has a great respect for others trying to be the best at their craft.

Reservoir Dogs - a QT classic.

Hell Ride is a "Quentin Tarentino Presents" film by Larry Bishop

(yes, Joey Bishop's son, a real badass biker). You will probably

find it on Netflix or from a major public library (I have the benefit

of both Westchester and NYPL membership).

If Mr 'Icy Hot" approved what he just saw, he will also approve

the girls and the bikes in Hell Ride. Also starring

Michael Madsen (from Reservoir Dogs), Vinnie Jones

(see under "Super Badass" in the dictionary) ,

David Carradine and DENNIS HOPPER.

I heard on the radio last week that this girl is not trying to sue the owners of the mall, for intentional infliction of emotional distress. Sad, she'll probably get some money.
