remove condition

Hello, I have a question. My husband and I rent a studio which is only $400 per month. We are trying to save money to buy a house. I will apply for removing condition on my green card this June. We have a lease from my landlord. However, we worry that the officer would think that $400 per month for the rent is not believable and it may cause some trouble. We were wondering if we should rent another bigger apartment and get a new lease that would be one of the proof when we apply for removing condition on my green card. Or it would be ok just as what it is? Thank you for your time! We appreciate it.

Nonsense.

The Immigration Officer gives a rodent's behind where you live and how little you pay for rent.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

Thank you guys!

We have the lease, joint car leasing document, joint car insurance, health insurance cards, life insurance document, tax document, pictures, joint bank account, joint credit cards, joint internet bills, same address of our driver licenses, same address of mails. Hope that they are enough. Thank you, then we know that we don't need to move to a bigger apartment just for this. I would be a little tough. Thank you and good luck!

It is not the business of USCIS; as long as you are living together and you have adequate evidence of an ongoing relationship. Good luck.
