No Impedment & Police Certificate

Can anyone tell me the procedure for getting the no impedment & police certificates in Jamaica and how much both cost?

Non-impediment form you apply for it at RGD office I believe it's about $6000JM and Police record is about $3000JM.

If you google non-impediment in Jamaica you will see that there are many locations throughout Jamaica. It will cost about 100 US dollars. My fiance got his nonimpediment in Port Maria, St. Mary. He traveled to Kingston to order his police certificate. I forgot how much that was.

A non-impedment is a document that states your SO is not married. Yes, ALL K1's must have one.

I phoned today to get one of these no inpediment forms and was told on the phone they can only give me it if i know what day im getting married and where im getting married!how is a K1 person ment to know this when they cant set dates due to not knowing when they will get the visa?

Well I set a wedding date, booked a venue, sent out save the dates, etc. Planning a wedding in 90days is close to impossible unless you're going to city hall or something.
