hi :)

I don't earn 125% of the poverty level to be able to cover a family of 4....I am the petitioner for us and I am wondering if we have a sponsor, if the sponsor can just make up for the rest of the amount that I don't earn. Does anybody know if this is possible or does the sponsor have to cover the entire amount?

thx

The sponsor has to cover the entire amount. However, if the sponsor has a relative who lives with them in heir house (husband or wife, say) that person can also fill out a I-864A and add their income to the main sponsor's, in case the sponsor is a bit short. They won't add it to your wages though. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
