February 3rd is the magical day~~~~

I am so happy that after one year of dealing with this immigration ####### (feb 2010) I'm glad it's almost finally over. Now, a little concerns, anyone with past experience please, all input is helpful!!

On things my husband should bring: (I just want to make sure so please let me know if I'm missing anything)

CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS

IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION <---does he need to bring another original?? I sent the original to nvc...

IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART II <------same with this.

PASSPORT

BIRTH CERTIFICATE

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE (He'll get another certified copy)

MARRIAGE TERMINATION (non applicable since he hasn't been married before)

COURT RECORDS (none)

FINANCIAL EVIDENCE (affidavit of support yes, but an original or copy is ok??)

CUSTODY PAPERS (no children, just two hairy fuzzy siberian huskies  )

MILITARY RECORDS (never went to the armyyy)

EL SALVADOR POLICE CERTIFICATE (has to get another one? if yes no problem  )

FEE PAYMENT (cash? how much should I expect?

PHOTOGRAPH (passport style 2 inch by 2 inch yupp)

PETITIONER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE (wait what? wouldn't we have the same one?)

PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE (does it have to have an apostille? or regular bc with county clerk seal?)

The consulate is the one in san salvador, el salvador. Anyone who has a direct phone number or email or even valuable info on this place I would appreciate it greatly! I understand this is the first interview out of two. This will be the one where he just turns in documents I guess.. However, in the letter they emailed me it did not address a consulate certified doctor to provide him with the medical exam, where can I get a list of docs anyone? Thanks so much!!! Wish us luck! We need it!

Oh! Is it necessary to send the DS-156 through mail....? I'm unsure of this and what is the packet 3 or 4? I'm a little confused on this. The headline of the email says P4 after the barcode thingy, does that mean it's "package 4?" Hellpppppp
