AP Approved, Document Production Also?

On the 5th, I got an email that my wife's AP was approved. Checked on USCIS.gov and it says:

Post Decision Activity

On January 5, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

-------------------------------

Is this the final step to receive the AP or does it need to flip over to Card/ Document Production before it's actually mailed out?

My wife's never went to the approved state, it when from initial review to document/card production then post decision activity (when it physically got mailed out)

So what you're saying is "Post Decision Activity" is the date of mailing then?

On the USCIS website "Document/Card Production" is arranged AFTER "Post Decision Activity," so I got a little confused.

My husband's is still on Post Decision Activity also, but we haven't received it yet. The EAD switched over to Post Decision Activity on Thursday, which I'm told means the date of mailing. We're hoping it arrives soon.

On the USCIS website "Document/Card Production" is arranged AFTER "Post Decision Activity," so I got a little confused.

This online tracking system is not always accurate or updated properly. Some people get their EAD and interview notices and their status is still Initial Review or acceptance. Congrats on AP though! We're still waiting for anything...

Funny USCIS site says my EAD was in production now post decision and my AP says initial review lol and I have received both of them . I have my EAD card and AP papers mmmmm don't pay too much attention to the site as not always accurate.
