25 March - I go home :(

16 November - He comes to visit me in Texas

25 November - he leaves back home :(

14 December - ENGAGED! <3

1 March- I fly off to see my babe in Hull

4 April - I go home :(

9 October - He comes back to Texas!!!!

13 October - WEDDING!!!

22 October - He goes back to England and I continue to wait for my settlement visa.

13 December 2007 - Move to England

Now the wait begins, I will become a citizen then we will DFC back to the US.

I would suggest that you check all deals through Travelsupermarket.com we have flown from the Uk to US many times and they will give you a very good idea on the best available deals. Would also suggest you consider paying £10 -20 more a ticket and fly into Manchester with Continental . Its much cheaper and easier to get over to Hull from there as the journey from London can be a nightmare.!!!!

Forget Humberside as you could only fly KLM via Amsterdam with about 3 layovers !

If you are also wanting USA car hire check out dollar.com they have a UK section and were much cheaper than anyone else !!!

Hope you enjoy your time in HULL !!

cheapflights is what we normally use. We are big fans of Northwest, individual tv screens in the seatbacks!!! Continental I guess has those but not if you fly into Manchster :( Boo on that!

I always go with Lastminute.com. Whoever is cheaper, goto their own website and the tickets are cheaper there. If you're ever going US->UK, priceline.com is good also.

On a side note, when your other half does fly in when he moves out here, don't fly into Houston! I did and it was a pain. Of course, if you have no other choice. That's just my experience.

well not sure just how many airports they go to in the states but we have just booked our flights, booked returns because it was cheaper, with Thomspsonfly and we fly Manchester direct to Sanford, Orlando for £497 and that was for the two of us, which I consider a pretty decent price. Good timing too, we leave at 9.20 a.m. and are in Sanford for 13.35. Couple of hours on the road and we are into Jacksonville

Direct Flights is also a pretty good one

1st time I flew I used airlinenetwork. They had a good deal that fitted my dates.

2nd time I used lastminute. Same reason.

3rd time I got the best deal direct from american airlines. Tracy used AA direct each time and always got good rates.

I think the smart thing to do is to check 3 or 4 sites like these, and tweak the dates to see how the prices change.

My Timeline is the same as TracyTN
